For our second helping of Gordon Astley, comedian Ray Davis joins John Dredge in dishing out the questions.
Gordon is quizzed on The Creature Feature, the backwards sports feature Sport Of World and the fact he was an assistant presenter to Keith Chegwin on Cheggers Plays Pop! Plus there’s reminiscing on the bands who played, such as Motorhead and Status Quo. Oh, and there’s a lovely bit about putting on Tiswas-themed gigs up in working mens’ clubs in Tyneside. No, really, that was a thing that happened!
