it would be fair to say that the show will be transmitted before the DVD release date don't you think and since the Due for release on 18/06/2007 maybe just maybe we could pencil in the 16th being the saturday and all

P.S i've just pre-ordered mine should be here by Thursday before as they always post early

Deffo a must have for my DVD collection!
Plus I can watch it well before the show gets put out on telly :D

But I'm curious as to how our Sal was in a BBC period drama in 1971 - A lady of many Talents, to be sure 8)

Can't see how they will send it you before transmission mate. I know Play.com do send stuff a bit early but they are saying 18th for release date which means you'll probably get it on Sat 16th the way they post stuff. But maybe they will, who knows??

Cheers Matt!

Shall order it very soon indeed

So I'm guessing it's going to have all of the extra stuff that won't be on the TV show? wouldn't be much point in buying a dvd of a show you could just tape off the telly!

Curious.
Went to Amaszon to see if the have the TU DVD out yet & no they don't.
But. They *do* have:

Tiswas - Volume 1 [1974] by Joan Palmer, Bob Carolgees, Sylvester McCoy, and John Gorman (II) (VHS Tape - 1992) 16 Used & new from £1.50
Tiswas Annual (Hardcover)
by John Gorman (Author), John Millington (Illustrator)
Tiswas File (Beaver Books) (Paperback)
by Gordon Astley (Author)
Tiswas Book of Ghastly Ghosts (Carousel Books) by Helen Piddock and D. Woods (Paperback - Oct 1981)
Tiswas Book of Silly Superstitions (Carousel Books) by Helen Piddock (Paperback - 22 May 1981)

Has any of this turned up before?

Um, probably not. I doubt they'd release the DVD before transmission.

They are looking for extra bits, and they said some bits of our recordings may end up on it as extras.

I have a few BBC comedy releases where it's just the shows as transmitted.

Well, patience is a virtue :)

Yes - I thought initially that it was just a namesake, but that cutting on Saturday scene mentioned Sal was classically trained for the stage. So that made me wonder.

Would it be possible for someone *cough Pete cough* to contact Mike Smith and ask if there are to be any extras or indeed what is on the DVD?

If Mike told me, the chances are that I would not be allowed to tell you until the release. I'll ask anyway!
