Tiswas: Devised by Peter TomlinsonIn 1973 Peter was ATV's weekend continuity announcer. He decided to add a little fun to Saturday Morning's links. Management approved and from January 1974 it became a self-contained programme - namely "Today is Saturday or The Tis-Was Show"
